Cannons Creek Park project: Constructing Two Bespoke Stormwater Chambers

08/07/2026

Among the scope of works on our Cannons Creek Park project, our team recently constructed two bespoke stormwater chambers which are the Inlet Chamber and the Energy Dissipation Chamber.

The Inlet Chamber was built using 43m3 of concrete with 400mm thick walls, engineered to handle significant stormwater flows, complete with baffle walls and penstock valves for flow control.

The Energy Dissipation Chamber was built from the base up to its full 4.7m height within a 5m deep excavation using trench box shielding and scaffold access to safely navigate the confined space.

Great planning, coordination, and teamwork helped ensure the successful execution of these two structures that will play a key role in effective stormwater management at the site for years to come.
