Te Hā Noa Victoria Linear Park
JFC proudly delivered Te Hā Noa, also known as Victoria Street Linear Park, which is a stunning green sanctuary nestled in the heart of the Auckland’s midtown CBD. As its name suggests, this thoughtfully designed linear park provides a continuous stretch of lush greenery, offering a refreshing escape amidst the urban landscape with an initiative to create a pedestrian-prioritised green corridor, integrating open space, cultural design features, and public transport infrastructure between Albert Park and Te Waihorotiu Station. The project is highly complex due to its dense inner-city location, the presence of major underground utility networks, and the requirement for close coordination with adjacent projects, including City Rail Link (CRL), Watercare, and other private developments. The corridor intersects several key streets such as Queen Street, High Street, Lorne Street and Kitchener Street, each of which demands bespoke traffic management and stakeholder planning.

The scope of works consisted of the following:
- Full stormwater and wastewater infrastructure upgrades, utility relocations and installations for Vector, Chorus, Watercare
- Raingarden and tree pit construction with full irrigation and structural soil systems
- Foundation and installation of amenity lighting, traffic signals, signage, and wayfinding
- Construction of new footpaths, road pavements, shared cycleways and pedestrian spaces
- Installation of high-specification hard landscaping, including Timaru Bluestone, natural stone paving, and concrete works
- Implementation of mana whenua-designed street furniture, feature boulders, and cultural artworks
- Coordination of all staging and sequencing around live transport infrastructure
