Fisher & Paykel Enabling Works, Auckland
JFC undertook enabling works for Fisher & Paykel Building 5 in Highbrook, Auckland, delivered within a marine and wetland environment, adjacent to a culturally significant heritage site.
The scope of works consisted of the following:
120,000m3 bulk earthworks, combination of pre-load, cut to fill and cut to waste - Preparation of building platform for vertical contractor handover
Bank stabilisation with 50 600mm diameter concrete piles, drilled to 2m+ deep
Construction of palisade walls, gravity stacked precast retaining walls & safety barriers
Installation of 900mm HDPE pipe, drilled to 6m+ deep, connecting to stormwater coastal outfall
Installation of a new combined service trench for HV ducting, mains pressure water lines and communications for new building facilities
Construction and realignment of new roading, including 2 new roundabouts
