There has been a significant change to the scenery at our Waiapu Precinct site as these retaining walls have started to take shape.

These walls will form the foundation for a future staircase connecting the different levels of the precinct. Construction began with pad footings installed in the ground along the length of each wall, followed by reinforced, grout-filled masonry block walls. The next phase involves constructing staircase footings between the two walls before the precast staircase and handrails are installed.
