We are proud to share that we have completed our Ōrewa Seawall project on behalf Auckland Council.

Spanning between Marine View and Kohu Street, we delivered:

– Watermain renewal

– A 600m grouted rock seawall, with ramps and 5 stairways for beach access

– A concrete shared path along the length of seawall, featuring in-ground lighting, landscaping and a section of boardwalk to protect the roots of coastal Pōhutukawa trees

– Remembrance Reserve – a new shared pathway and landscaping

– Kinloch Reserve – a new shared pathway, culvert crossing construction, grouted rock stepped seating area, street furniture, water fountain, and landscaping

The seawall provides increased protection for the foreshore from erosion and coastal processes while also improving access along this part of the coastline for locals and visitors.
