Following the enthusiasm and interest sparked by the Girls with Hi-Vis event with Connexis, we were thrilled to welcome back 50 students from One Tree Hill College last week. They joined us for a visit to our Waiapu Precinct site and our yard, where they had the chance to try their hand at paving and even operate some of our gear.

It was an exciting opportunity to showcase the world of civil construction and the wide range of career pathways within the industry.

At JFC, we’re passionate about mentorship and training, which is why we launched our in-house training initiative, Te Pou Manawa, in 2022.
Seeing young people take a genuine interest in civil construction as a future career is always inspiring and we’re here for it!
