JFC is recognised as an innovative leader in the civil and infrastructure industry in greater Auckland, with heavy involvement in all types of roading, streetscape, earthworks, drainage and landscaping projects.
This project is typical of the activities we undertake in the parks and recreational facilities of Auckland. The work involved the reconstruction of an existing granular car park and its green field extention together with roundabout construction on the access road, pedestrian crossings and new concrete footpaths. The project included all aspects of pavement construction and demostrated our capabilities as a road builder. The carpark was substantially completed by in-house JFC resources including the placing and compacting of subbase and basecourse layers. The scope of works included: Earthworks Stormwater drainage Kerb & channel works Footpaths Asphalt concrete sealing Speed hump Pedestrian crossing Roundabout Traffic island Landscaping Pavement marking and signage
