JFC is recognised as an innovative leader in the civil and infrastructure industry in greater Auckland, with heavy involvement in all types of roading, streetscape, earthworks, drainage and landscaping projects.
This project is an excellent example of specialist drainage works. As a new supermarket development JFC undertook nearly 300 metres of stormwater and sewer pipework all connected to the public network. With depths up to 3m careful attention was paid to health and safety and providing appropriate shoring. The work involved the installation of an oil and grease interceptor. This 1200mm diameter up flow filter and manhole was approximately 3 metres deep and required careful lifting and placement. We adopted the highest environmental standards during the work and provided our own resources to manage run off in pre-planned operations. We have recently returned to site to undertake routine maintenance of the up flow filter demonstrating our long term commitment to clients. The scope of works included: Specialist drainage upgrade Upflow filters Grease interceptor Manholes
