JFC is recognised as an innovative leader in the civil and infrastructure industry in greater Auckland, with heavy involvement in all types of roading, streetscape, earthworks, drainage and landscaping projects.
For the Silo Park project, JFC's joint venture with Downer EDI, "Total Spaces" was utilised. Undertaking a wide range of activities involving structures, wetland areas and paving contributed to the completion of stage one of the Wynyard Quarter revitalisation. Works were undertaken to accommodate the tidal ranges and avoid any water inundation and included unstable sludge removal and the placing of mudcrete. The works were managed effectively to prevent any environmental contamination or destabilisation of the affected structure. The scope of works included: Temporary works Sludge removal Environmental measures Cut to waste Granular subbase Service and drainage works Marine Piling Concrete accessways, footpaths, kerb and channel works Reinforced concrete structures Street Furniture
