JFC is committed to delivering the highest environmental standards in all of our activities. We have developed a continuous improvement process and work closely with innovative companies, client organisations and the ARC to ensure our practices are cutting edge.
To ensure we operate at a consistently high level, we have developed and fully implemented an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. We have invested heavily in environmental training to ensure all our staff understands that good environmental management is not just a management initiative, but a social responsibility.
Developing an environmental management plan is a core procedure in our quality system and is produced in advance of commencing any project. Our systematic approach has enabled us to successfully undertake environmentally sensitive projects without incident. We have an extensive portfolio of projects that demonstrates our ability to remediate some of the most heavily contaminated work sites in the country.
At the heart of our methodology is excellent risk assessment and then the implementation of appropriate environmental measures. We have a range of plant and equipment specifically designed to enable us to operate incident free and achieve the outcomes desired by our clients.
To further demonstrate our commitment to the environment and the preservation of precious resources, we have invested extensively in the latest technology. The use of a recently established recycling facility reduces the burden on virgin aggregates and materials. Our fleet policy is to run new vehicles that operate with the latest fuel efficient engines. The latest GPS tracking ensures we can manage our logistics efficiently and effectively.
